Oakwell Hall is a fantastic spot to see the northern lights! The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the setting added to the magic. Highly recommend visiting if you’re hoping to catch the aurora!
It looked good through the railings. Unfortunately it was locked up tighter than a drum. Apparantly the Hall only opens on a weekend or during school holidays.
Great place to walk off the doughnuts. Lots of easy to follow paths with plenty of information boards to highlight the nature, fauna and local history that you will walk past. Plenty free parking, free public toilets and lots of picnic spots as well as a good range of picnic tables and benches.
Nice wee park. Plenty of parking, loved it 😁
Could be better ..i keep my dog on lead and under control ..but some people go and have 3 or 4 dogs of lead
