My wife and I had a one night stay while holidaying in Yorkshire. The room was a decent size, with modern bathroom, tv and tea/coffee facilities, nothing fancy but very pleasant. We ate dinner at the Inn, and were fortunate to be staying on Wednesday steak night. Had a very good value steak dinner, cooked perfectly with a nice couple of pints of beer and pudding to finish. Judging from the others having dinner, it’s very popular with the locals which is always a great sign.

Family run hotel and pub. Very friendly staff, delicious food and beautiful hotel room. We loved the beer garden and sat out for hours listening to the music. Reasonably priced too. Very impressed with the light up Hollywood mirror, it was just like I have at home! Will definitely return, thank you!

We went for a meal last night and it was absolutely gorgeous. I had a steak, everyone else had carvery. Good value, great setting, everywhere spotlessly clean. Highly recommend

Had amazing food here, not the first time we’ve eaten here and certainly won’t be the last. The staff are incredible and are on the ball, nothing is too much trouble. Will definately return 😀

We booked a carvery meal for a group and from the moment we turned up we didn’t feel welcome at all. Despite the sign on the front of the place stating that “everyone is welcome”, the owner did not have a warm welcoming tone at all. We came with a baby and the owner said we may have to go in the back room (because of the baby!), rushed us up for a carvery and was very rude about it. The stars I have given are for the nice food and lovely young waiter we had. Otherwise, the owner does not do the place justice at all.
