Really nice spot for coffee. The flat white is very good. The cortado is nice, but I’m used to it having less milk. Good strong coffee. The ambiance is relaxing, lots of light coming in the windows. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly place
Such a lovely brunch spot! The staff are really kind and the food is so delicious!! They have a wide variety of brunch items you can get as well as lots of nice sweet treats to choose from. Really affordable for the quality and dog friendly too.
I've had one really good/rustic afternoon tea, then a terrible one, neither at OG, so my expectations were high hoping they would smash it. I'm happy to say, they did. 8 were in our group, 5 had afternoon tea, and 3 of those 5 were gluten-free. Everything was tasty and fresh, we weren't short-changed. We brown-bagged what we couldn't eat (a sign of a great afternoon tea is the takeout), and will return for sure. The staff were simply brilliant and attentive in making sure we got what we needed - they get an A*. The unlimited barista drinks within the afternoon tea is a nice touch, some of our group had 2 drinks.
I couldn’t wait to try the Old George at Fox Valley after previously visiting the Old George in Market Hill and Barnsley, I knew that I wouldn’t be disappointed. Me and my partner visited here just before Christmas for the first time and what a lovely treat! 🫶 We were seated promptly, the food was amazing as well as the drinks . The orange juice was freshly made and both the drinks and food beautifully presented. I also tried cakes from the counter, which were freshly made and tasted delicious! The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the coffee shop was immaculate, staff were very quick to clear away dirty plates and clean the tables, making it look very presentable. The toilets were very clean and tidy, the hand soap and cream smells amazing too! Which is available to purchase at the counter! (I had to buy some!) 😃 Thank you so much Old George, amazing experience! We will definitely be visiting again! 🤩 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Fantastic visit to the OG, the food and drinks are well worth the visit if you have a chance! All the staff are incredible (Emma, Nicky and Aisha) and make you feel incredibly welcome. Dog friendly and great food & drinks, just need one in Manchester now and it can be our regular!
