Fox Valley Hand Car Wash And Valet

I visited here in January 2024 for a full clean inside and out. Initially quoted £30 for a 30 to 60-minute service, after the guy had looked inside my car to check the extend of the clean. When I returned after an hour, I found my car still incomplete so I wanted patiently. To my surprise, I was then informed that the cost had escalated to £40 after being told “very dirty, £40”. Obviously refused to pay and he soon backed down from an argument, clearly trying his luck! Upon closer inspection, it became evident that some surfaces were overlooked during the cleaning process, leading me to address these areas myself. The discrepancy in service time was annoying, as other vehicles arriving later were promptly attended to. While I generally appreciate supporting local businesses, this particular encounter has left me hesitant to recommend their services, despite positive feedback from others. Following companies reply: I can confirm it was definitely your car wash. I would recommend everyone reads other reviews before visiting, the team only care for those with expensive cars or those who spend big money. Avoid at all costs in my opinion!!

Very good and fast service. Prices are reasonable. Usually wash within 30-40 mins so enough time to do shopping or gym. Would recommend

Took my car here this morning and asked for “ just a wash”. Returned 20mins later to collect and was told it was £9. When I queried this I was told they had done a wash, wax and dry. I explained I had only asked for a wash. The owner became quite nasty and tried to bully me into paying more and then one of his staff joined in and kept saying “ same last time”. I have used this service a few times before over the years but have never disputed the bill before. I told him this and said I resented being accused of lying. I will not be using this service again. Yes my car looked well and they had done a good job and I would happily have paid £9 if that was what I had asked for but I don’t expect to be bullied and accused of lying.

I couldn't recognise my car thats how clean it became thanks a lot will come again!
