Shocking doctors, always late for appointments. Waited 45 minutes after our appointment time for my 3 months old to be seen! I was told there were ‘system errors’. My partner took my other son a few month ago and was waiting nearly an hour to be seen. All the doctors we have seen so far seem almost clueless , having to search things whilst we’re there of our symptoms. I understand you can’t know everything but to openly search symptoms ( and also medicine to see if it’s correct!! ) in front of us does not give us any reassurance! Will be moving doctors ASAP.

On 24 February I visited the Doctors. There was a communication breakdown between the GP and Chemist. My prescription hadn't been received. I was told to visit the Reception to resolve the problem. At 0900 i joined two men in the queue at the Reception. One guy said he had pressed the button 3 times and no answer. I pressed the button twice after waiting ten minutes and still.no answer. The two men decided enough was enough and left the premises in disgust. I was then joined by an elderly lady on crutches and I advised her due to the delay it maybe advisable to take a seat. I had waited 25 minutes. So I pressed the request button again and was joined by a female who apologised for the delay, claiming staff were on the phone. The Service I and others received from the Reception Staff, was well below the required standard. I completed a dissatisfaction document and handed it to the Receptionisy .

Brilliant practice always friendly and polite. Nurse was lovely who did my smear very friendly and reassuring, as smears go it was a delight lol

Totally useless trying to get an appointment. When asked what it’s about suddenly no vacancies. Sorry but my health might not be important to the receptionist but my health is very important to me. Who are they to say it’s not important for a mear receptionist who isn’t medically trained whether I can see a doctor or not.

I wanted to book a phone chat with the Doctor. They could only offer 9 days later at an undefined time between 8 and 12, so I would have to stay up to 4 hours by the phone. When a funeral came up I tried to phone to cancel or better establish a more accurate time of the appointment. Option 3. No answer all day. Wanted to transfer me to the "collaborative". But the website says the surgery is open all day. Phone Option 1. Phoned in desperation. Prescription OR QUERIES. No human reply for queries. Phone Option 2. Recorded message said I was no.1 in the queue which caused me to wait for ages and try repeatedly throughout the day. I presume I am still no.1 in the queue to this day. It later transpired that my appointment had been made for a specific time rather than a 4 hour window, which is all I wanted in the first place but nobody had let me know. As there seems to be no staff in the surgery I doubt if anyone will pick up on these matters.
