Dr R Bunn - The Valley Medical Centre

Receptionist has a right attitude she is not very helpful at all i after to have a blood test every year but for some reason she thinks I'm not entitled to have a blood test when the hospital knows more then. Her she's not a doctor and she doesn't work for the hospital so who does she think she is saying I'm not entitled to have a blood test when I have a blood test every year she is a receptionist not a doctor and if you look on my records you can see that I have to have a blood test every year and she turned me down from having a blood test and when I try to make an appointment she's talking down at me accuse me of swearing at her when I wasn't swearing at her🤣 all I want to do is make an appointment and sort my prescription out and she's very rude and unhelpful she has a snobby attitude and she give me an appointment which is too early or to late in the year to have a flu jab no point in late January all the virus will have gone then she is playing with people's lives with her attitude she needs to change it🤣🤣

After moving to the area, I joined this surgery. The practice manager Liz Sedgwick is hostile, rude & downright nasty. Not at all a professional. She doesn't like to be challenged or dealing with complaints. I have had some bad experience with some of the doctors, HOWEVER, Dr Bunn is incredibly kind and does in fact listen. The issue here is the bad management from the top. Can't get an appointment despite my call being answered within 4 minutes of the line opening. Closed all day for home appointments? Receptionists hide in a back room and you have to stand waiting for ages pressing a buzzer to get their attention. The appointments always run really late! (Again, bad management). Such a shame I had to move Doctors because my old surgery was fab compared to this diabolical one!

Excellent group practice. Been with them over 30 years. Top class service for the whole of my family. I think they do an amazing job under very difficult circumstances. Appointments will always be an emotive subject, but I recognise they do their utmost to accommodate patients as quickly as possible, and in an emergency would be seen the same day. 10000 plus patients, not easy to balance! Thank you!

We have been with this practice since they opened many years ago and today the GP's at Valley are the best we have ever had. We can always get an appointment within two days and rarely have to wait longer than 15 minutes in the surgery. Recently had an emergency appointment within two hours of our telephone call. Well done to all the GP'S.

Been with these doctors nearly 2 years .They have been Brill with me . I know they have a hard time accommodating appointments , but that is the system , not them . Am pleased to be under this practice
