InstaVolt Charging Station

Plenty of chargers, facilities are brilliant, get a lovely meal at Pontis, do some shopping or grab a coffee

Clearly others have had similar issues here. Chargers don’t all accept the card payment. Called the customer service team who advised they’ll reset the charger - still not working. Finally got one to work however speeds are not ideal once you finally get there. InstaVolt is not the one. Will charge what I have to and aim for another charger on route. Avoiding InstaVolt like the plague as do many miles to consider having issues due to InstaVolt infrastructure.

Had real issues here, 1 charging station accepted card and charge, my app said it was accepted and £15 pre auth completed... got to costa, and stopped charging... twice .. Moved to end one... card reader didn't work... Moved to another... failed to start charge... 5th attempt... it finally worked... but did the same thing at all of them... Now have 60 quid in pre authorisations out of my account leaving me overdrawn but needed the charge

Straightforward to use even for a 69 year old new EV driver. No problems whatsoever. My only complaint is the same as for all these companies - the cost of the electricity is far too high compared to using a home charger.

In Samuel Foxes shopping outlet, When paying with your card, and it gets to the point of pushing the start buttons, half the start buttons don't work, says charging is cancelled and there goes another &15 Out of your bank.... Half of the chargers are always out of action, so it's a lucky dip turning up to see if one will be actually working.
