From our first meeting with Martin, and dealing with Lisa in the office, Birks have been fabulous dealing with the passing of my father in law. The empathy they have shown has been outstanding, even down to the littlest detail that we have thought of afterwards, nothing has been a problem. I cannot recommend TW Birks in Stocksbridge enough. The service we received from them from the initial notification right up to and following mums funeral was second to none. All the staff, especially Martin, were caring, friendly and efficient. The flowers and order of service booklet were perfect and the recommended Celebrant was the perfect choice. Everything was dealt with smoothly and professionally and I am sure mum would have been pleased with the care and respect provided.

From start to finish everyone we dealt with at Birks (Andrea, Sheila and Martin) were exceptionally helpful. From the quick ambulance after my grandad passed away, right up to showing him respect on the way to the crematorium. On the day, Martin and the rest of the team went above and beyond so ensure we knew the process and ensured we didn't feel overwhelmed. The driver even managed to complete the tight turn down More Hall in one turn! The quick communication received throughout alleviated a lot of the stress and we always knew where we stood in the process. I would highly recommend Birks, especially if they were as clueless about the whole process as my father and I were. Thank you to you all.

Martin and Sheila offered us the perfect service and we cannot thank them enough. My brother died in December 2023 and Martin and the team were truly wonderful. The attention to detail and care for our family was outstanding.
