The Palace Mall

Just had an awesome lunch at The Bite Cafe, wifey had seasonal turkey Yorkshire pudding wrap and said it was gorgeous, I went for the chip butty, which included just the best home made chips, so we will certainly be back as our hosts were attentive, efficient and friendly. Great job The Bite Cafe!!!

Lovely little cafe opening up next week. Looks fab and there's a nice little antique shop next to it. A few charity shops along the road.. worth a look. And the big lidl too. Worth a visit

Raven Ink was friendly and helpful, as expected. The Mall itself is a bit small and underutilised, but once you are aware of the shops that are in there, I'm sure they would be just as good 😀

It's a bit "blink and you miss it" and seemed deserted when we went. Although you could access the inside and the shops were lit up, it was conspicuously empty and felt like the beginning of a Sci fi movie where you're suddenly the last person left on earth. Even in off peak times, you'd expect a few people... not familiar enough with the area to know if this was standard or anomalous. Seems a shame though, it looked like it had potential to be an alternative to the generic offerings on your average high Street.
