Warning for anyone cycling up or down Boltby Bank, the road has been freshly gritted... Not good as the gradient is 25%!
Stayed overnight in the van, nice quiet place lots of wildlife minimum litter just a few dog poo bags hanging off the sign and around it. I'm happy to take other people's litter home but not their dog waste.
Good location. Says easy walk to high paradise farm
Great starting point for lots of lovely walks. Often muddy and a bit uneven so be prepared. Please be considerate of other users and the farmers when parking.
A great rendezvous point for walks on the Cleveland Way and within the beautiful surrounding countryside. Heading south, walk or mountain bike towards the Sutton Bank Visitor Centre for local insight and refreshments. Heading north, take the more ambitious route towards Black Hambleton and the village of Osmotherley.
