Hornington Manor

We couldn’t be happier with our choice of venue for our wedding day. From the very beginning, the staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making our day unforgettable. The venue itself was absolutely stunning, we wanted a place that was both romantic and rustic which Hornington is perfect for. The place is beautifully maintained, with breath taking views (both outdoors and indoors). One of the things that really made the difference was the onsite accommodation. All of our family members could stay at the venue, which meant we were all together under one roof. It was great to not have to arrange multiple hotels, logistics, and transfers. From grandparents who appreciated the ease of staying close, to kids loving having enough space to roam safely, the accommodations were comfortable, clean, and exceeded expectations. Everything was set up exactly how we had envisioned it, and the team went above and beyond to ensure the day ran seamlessly. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day .We were able to fully relax and enjoy every moment.

We had our wedding at Hornington Manor in June 2025 and couldn’t recommend it more! From the very start, the team were so helpful and friendly, always super responsive with any question I had. Candice and Ember made the process really easy for us and went above and beyond to make our day so special. The venue was more than we could’ve ever expected (especially with the new renovations), and being able to spend the full weekend there with our friends and family was amazing. The staff were so relaxed and the day of the wedding ran so smoothly. Despite the heatwave weather, the team made sure everything was perfect. We’ve had so many comments from guests about how beautiful the venue was and I wish we could do it all over again. Thanks so much to all of the team! X

A quick one night stop in one of their beautiful shepherds huts. Cosy, warm and clean, well equipped. Super comfortable bed and decent power in the shower that had me ready for my busy day ahead. Location was a 25min drive into the center of York. As a femail lone traveler, I felt really comfortable, staff that I met were really friendly. I'll definitely be extending my next work trip for an extra night or two to really enjoy the idyllic location.

Hornington Manor was the first wedding venue we visited after being recommended by a friend. Safe to say we didn’t view any others. As soon as we arrived we knew it was the place for us. From the amazing surroundings to the luxurious Manor House and shepherd huts, it catered for everything we needed. Ember was absolutely brilliant and couldn’t do enough to ensure everything went smoothly. We were in constant contact via email and visited the venue a few times for wedding fairs and to see the new renovations they had done which have updated the venue perfectly. The whole day was absolutely perfect and we cannot recommend the venue and team enough. Wish we could do it all again and will definitely be returning in the future.

We had a lovely night away at Hornington. Very peaceful location with great views. Hut was really well fitted out with everything we needed and great to see that outside chairs have been replaced. Comfortable bed and slept very well
