I have recently completed on the sale of a house which I have never done before. I chose Stephensons Boroughbridge office to deal with the sale and Hethertons Solicitors Boroughbridge office to act on my behalf. Sue Smith at Stephensons was my main contact and explained everything from start to finish of what stage we were at, she explained fully in layman's terms so I could understand. Sue and her team are very professional but at the same time very approachable and friendly. People always say buying and selling property is very stressful but with the correct team behind you it goes through very smoothly. Sue and Nathan in the Boroughbridge office were fantastic. They dealt with our house sale. The communication from them was excellent, we were always kept updated on all viewings and sale developments. In fact Sue went above and beyond to sell our house, proactively chasing our buyers for updates on the sale. Our house was also not easy to sell being a small cottage with a flying freehold, but Stephensons put it as a featured property on Rightmove a number of times to generate interest until we found a buyer who it suited.

My experience with Sue and the team at Stephenson's was very good and I would highly recommend them. The sale of our house was managed with professionalism and I always felt Sue had our best interests at heart. With a slow period over Christmas efforts were renewed in the spring with drone footage of the house, all part of the package at Stephensons. My experience with Stephensons was exemplary. My initial valuation with Nick was very good, professional and realistic and he inspired confidence in the potential of a sale. However, with interest rates on the rise, the Liz Truss issues affecting financial confidence and my house being priced confidently but at the top end, I am sure that the efforts of Sue, coordinating between me and the purchaser, peacekeeping between solicitors and general sale management, over a very extended period of time, is the main reason my sale was able to complete.
