Concrete and Cacti

Popped in for some inspiration for a friend's birthday. Given great advice and help to buy a present, gorgeous pot and a great plant. Can't wait to go back and treat myself!

Such a cute shop for unique gifts, quirky pots & house plants. The staff are always so helpful too & gift wrapped everything for me.

WOW just WOW! I whole heartedly recommend Concrete and Cacti. Laura is SO lovely and knowledgable and always goes the extra mile. Her customer service is out of this world and nothing is too much trouble. If you haven’t done so already, visit her new shop or see her at one of the markets she does - I promise you won’t be disappointed!! My house is full of Laura’s pots and cacti and I wouldn’t have it any other way. A super example of a small business thriving!!

What a fantastic shop. As soon as you walk through the door a beautiful aroma hits you and then your eyes widen and you become that “little child in a sweetie shop” moving from one superbly hand made item to another. You just have to purchase something when you go in. The seasonal gifts are spectacular including the Pumpkins, Stags Heads, Stars and the Green Christmas Trees. You can’t believe everything is handmade and all packaging is recyclable. I also have to mention the fabulous customer service with a smile and the enthusiasm from all those who work in the shop. They don’t “pounce” on you but are always on hand to give advice, change and re-pot a plant for another and finally wrap your purchases with love and care. All I can say is that I will be returning not only for a new larger pot for Colin the Cacti (which is having a growing spurt and a new appendage is beginning to sprout), but also to purchase my Christmas gifts, especially the Christmas Trees and a personalized dog bowl along with a couple of Potted Plants. Sadly poor quality and terrible service. We bought several things at Seaham Food Festival in Aug 2022. We then bought multiple concrete letters spelling West Farm. The letters were delivered almost 2 months after ordering them. It took so long, we were on holiday when they eventually arrived. When we got home and opened the package, one of the letters were smashed and others do not stand straight. We asked for a replacement of the smashed letter. Despite multiple emails and reassurances of a replacement letter, nothing has ever arrived. It is now April 2023 and we oringally ordered in August 2022. Truly terrible service and the quality is sadly very poor. See pictures of the smashed letter that we have had to glue and the wonky letters / poor quality.
