I just can't resist walking past a good hardware shop. The shop was well set out with a vast amount of stock. Was very clean and the staff were chatty and very helpful. Somehow I managed to spend nearly twenty quite on stuff I didn't know I needed. Wish there were more like this.

Awesome local business and they have everything! Parking on street or up the side alley. Even a website look-up for: Tools, fasteners, paint-matching, houshold items and on and on.

I have used this store a lot over the years as a last resort and always found them a bit expensive. However when I purchased a tube of forever white silicone (£6.95 delivered by Amazon) for nearly £15! I pointed this out to the staff member ( squarish black glasses.. you know who you are) he arrogantly said “ I don’t care!” and was very abrupt. They have a bit of a monopoly in Boroughbridge but there is no excuse for that kind of price and bad customer service. I will do my best to avoid them from now. Very disappointed

Here is a shop that is sadly hard to find nowadays but we are extremely fortunate to have one in Boroughbridge. What a gem! Pretty much anything you could wish to find from baking and cooking goods to tools and screws and anything in between. I thought the prices were pretty reasonable to considering it is an independent retailer. Staff were extremely well informed, very friendly and only to happy to help no matter what the query. Would highly recommend.

Hubby tells me these guys sell pretty much everything a boy could want for DIY! Add to that a garden section...candles...kitchenware...bathroom accessories all at better than web prices and there it is. A gem of a shop. The staff are super helpful too
