Yorkshire Children's Centre
About
Description
Yorkshire Children's Centre,Part of the National Childrens Centre, is a medium sized charity based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, serving communities locally, regionally and through our lobbying work in a national capacity.
The centre provides practical services aimed at improving the lives of children, young adults and families most in need as well as working to influence national policy and delivery of services for children.
Through our projects, we provide help, support and advice to those who need it whilst working to develop realistic solutions and positive approaches to childhood and parental challenges.
Our support services now reach out to older people and families living in Wakefield and Kirklees, through the Batley Resource Centre.
Recently we have undergone extensive building work on parts of Brian Jackson House and have a great rage of meeting rooms and engaging spaces available for hire
