Fantastic food, never fails to impress. Great value for money. We went on a wednesday, it was nicely busy our meals cost £12.95 for two courses. Drinks and sides average price not too expensive at all.
Its my daughter's birthday on 4th January and Sambuka is always closed ( rightly so for a very well deserved rest after the very busy christmas period). This is her/ our favourite restaurant that we like to go out to to celebrate her birthday with a meal. So we have......not by choice.....had to try another local restaurant for her birthday. Last year, it was a hughe let down comparatively. The food was ok however we were over charged and the whole experience was Lacking the friendliness we always get from Sambuka. This year we postponed her meal to today. We had, as expected and hoped, the most amazing meal to celebrate her birthday. The owner and his team always offer the best service from arrival to leaving. Can not compliment them enough. Thank you all so much. Xxx
My first visit with friends after work, and I was blown away with the service, value, quality of food, and a great atmosphere. This place was packed on a Thursday night, and I can see why. £12.95 for a two course meal is fantastic, served with a choice of good value extras, and cool Peronni on draught. I would highly recommend this place, and I shall be returning soon.
It was very busy when we went there, last Friday. However... The food was lovely, and the staff were very attentive.
Food excellent, but was Not impressed as was sat by the toilet door New Year’s Eve. Very cold. Had to eat with our coats on. Just wanted to eat and leave. I did mention to staff. Who closed a door, but then the men’s toilet window was wide open. Would have been nice to move tables. Seen as we was surrounded by two tables full of children and a crying baby. Not a nice experience on New Year’s Eve. An apology was given. But still charged full price for meals that we had to rush, as we wanted to get out as fast as we could. Yes meal was excellent, but could have still been offered our drink on the house.
