Cobbles and Clay is a café and pottery painting studio at the top of Haworth’s Main Street, right in the heart of Yorkshire’s Bronte country. With an extensive menu full of ‘no junk, no gunk’ freshly made dishes including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options, Cobbles and Clay is perfect place to relax in the company of friends and family.

Open every day 8.45am till 5pm, the café’s stress-free environment welcomes children (and well behaved adults!) of all ages.

Pottery painting

A fantastic way to relax with your friends, or to entertain the kids quiet whilse you enjoy a coffee. The café has a lovely selection of pottery to paint, from fire breathing dragons and enchanted fairies to dog bowls and tea pots. We have everything you need to paint your masterpiece, all you need to bring is a little creativity!

Special events

Not just for daytime activities, the licensed café organises numerous different evening events. Whether it’s an open mic night or a local band performing a live gig, each night always creates a buzz on Haworth Main Street. See what’s coming up on the events page of the website.

Private parties and groups

With a room upstairs to hold private parties, the café offers numerous party packages dependent on your requirements. The perfect way to let go of the stress (and the clearing up afterwards), pick from the ‘no gunk, no junk’ menu and rest easy knowing that the children aren’t being pumped full of every e-number under the sun!

Corporate bookings

The stunning upstairs space is ideal for corporate bookings of up to 50 people. Enjoy exclusivity of the space during the day any time Monday – Friday. You’ll find that pottery painting is a fantastic team building activity but there’s various packages available to suit your needs. More details are on the website.
