<p><strong>Housing Support Officer </strong></p> <p><strong>Bradford</strong></p> <p><strong>35 hours per week</strong></p> <p><strong>Permanent</strong></p> <p><strong>&#163;23,500 per annum</strong></p> <p>Hamilton Woods Associates are working with a charity that is looking for a Housing Support Officer to work with males fleeing domestic violence. </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities of the Housing Support Officer includes:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Providing housing and tenancy related support to males fleeing domestic violenc</li><li>Identifying their needs and agreeing a programme of support via floating support, telephone support or housing related support.</li><li>Ensuring that the telephone helpline is staffed </li><li>Referring men into the crash pad accommodation and to ensure that they get a high level of support in order for them to move on into more appropriate accommodation.</li><li>Supporting men living wirhin dispersed units of longer term accommodation</li><li>Managing referrals and conducting needs and risk assessments</li><li>Conducting health and safety checks</li><li>Completing inductions</li><li>Ensuring clients adhere to their tenancy agreements</li><li>Fostering joint working with other agencies and services to provide holistic support</li><li>Assisting with benefit applications</li></ul> <p><strong>Essential criteria of the Housing Support Officer include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Enhanced DBS or willingess to undergo one</li><li>Experience with vulnerable clients within a housing support capacity</li><li>UK driving license and access to own vehicle</li></ul>
