SEN Teaching Assistant
<p>Are you a learning support assistant with experience of working with SEMH children? If you are an SEND specialist, or have strengths being a learning support assistant for children with challenging behaviour and anxiety, this is the role for you!</p> <p>For as soon as possible, <strong>a Huddersfield Primary school is looking for a learning support assistant to work 1:1</strong> with a boy in Year 3 with additional needs and working within the Year 1 curriculum.</p> <p>Day to day for this learning support assistant role:</p> <ul> <li>Support child with learning tasks</li><li>Nurturing and self esteem activities</li><li>Brain and movement breaks </li><li>Supporting with behaviour</li><li>Spotting triggers and implenting behaviour support as required</li></ul> <p>As a learning support assistant you will show <strong>strong pastoral and emotional support for your pupil</strong>, as well as being <strong>vigilant to their cues</strong> and needs which will mean able to think on the spot and being flexible with his timetable.
