<p>Teaching Assistant</p> <p>Academics are currently recruiting confident and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support a number of our partner schools across Bradford. We work with a variety of schools including mainstream settings and specialist SEN provisions, offering flexible opportunities for experienced and passionate support staff.</p> <p>This is a fantastic opportunity for Teaching Assistants who enjoy working in different environments and supporting children with a range of learning needs. Roles may include working within mainstream classrooms, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), or working within dedicated SEN provisions.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons</p> </li><li> <p>Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting children with SEN and additional needs to access learning</p> </li><li> <p>Promoting a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment</p> </li><li> <p>Supporting pupils with their confidence, behaviour and engagement in lessons</p> </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A confident and proactive Teaching Assistant</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with children in mainstream and/or SEN settings</p> </li><li> <p>A flexible and reliable approach to working across different schools</p> </li><li> <p>A genuine passion for supporting children and young people</p> </li><li> <p>A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a DBS application</p> </li></ul> <p>Why work with Academics?</p> <ul> <li> <p>Flexible work to suit your availability</p> </li><li> <p>Opportunities across a range of Bradford schools</p> </li><li> <p>Support from a dedicated education recruitment team</p> </li><li> <p>Potential for long-term and permanent roles</p> </li></ul>
