<strong>Role: B1 Foiling Operator</strong><br /><strong>Salary: £32,000</strong><br /><strong>Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire </strong><br /><strong>Shifts: Double day shift standard. </strong><br /><strong>Job Type: Permanent</strong><br /><br /><strong>The Opportunity:</strong><br />We are seeking experienced B1 Foiling Operators to join a well-established, expanding packaging manufacturer operating within a modern production environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to produce high-quality packaging at speed using advanced foiling machinery in a business with a strong industry reputation and long-term stability.<br /><br />As a B1 Foiling Operator, you will play a key role in delivering premium finished packaging products across a wide range of substrates, from lightweight paper stocks to heavyweight materials. This role offers long-term career security, progression opportunities, and the chance to work with industry-leading equipment.<br /><br /><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br /><ul> <li>Set up and operate B1 foiling machinery, ensuring consistent quality and high-speed production.</li><li>Produce high-quality packaging products across a range of materials and paper weights.</li><li>Work confidently with flat dies, fluted dies, and multi-level dies.</li><li>Carry out embossing operations where required.</li><li>Ensure machines are correctly set, maintained, and adjusted for optimal performance.</li><li>Maintain quality control standards across all production runs.</li><li>Accurately follow job specifications and production schedules.</li><li>Use MIS systems for job tracking, reporting, and production control.</li><li>Communicate effectively with supervisors, team leaders, and production teams.</li><li>Support peak production demands through shift flexibility where required.</li><li>Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and compliance at all times.</li></ul> <br /><strong>What We Are Looking For:</strong><br /><ul> <li>Minimum 4 years’ experience operating Bobst machinery (required).</li><li>Minimum 4 years’ experience in B1 foiling operations (required).</li><li>Proven experience with flat, fluted, and multi-level dies.</li><li>Embossing experience (highly desirable).</li><li>Strong understanding of quality standards within packaging production.</li><li>Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.</li><li>Familiarity with MIS systems.</li><li>Good standard of written and spoken English.</li><li>Ability to work double day shifts and flexibility for night/overnight working when required.</li><li>Ability to commute to or relocate to Bradford. </li></ul> <strong>Benefits:</strong><br /><ul> <li>Great progression opportunities with a growing company</li><li>Enhanced holidays</li><li>Pension contributions</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Long-term stability</li><li>Modern machinery and production environment</li></ul> If this is role is something you are looking for, click apply now!
