Logistics Coordinator

Our client is looking for someone with a background in <strong>import/export logistics</strong> to take on this new challenge.</p> <p>Positioned in the operations team, this role involves handling bookings, customer queries, and maintaining accurate data while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail. Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities for a Logistics Coordinator:</strong><br />* Respond to customer queries via phone and email.<br />* Monitor and manage a shared inbox.<br />* Provide quotes, pricing, and service information.<br />* Input customer bookings into the system (Cargowise).<br />* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and agents.<br />* Produce and send customer documentation, including bills of lading.</p> <p><strong>Skills & Competencies for a Logistics Coordinator:</strong><br />* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.<br />* Professional telephone manner and effective communication skills.<br />* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work to deadlines.<br />* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong><br />* Good level of education in Maths & English.<br />* A background in supply chain or freight-forwarding is essential.<br />* Experience in sea-freight and export is desirable.</p> <p><strong>Due to the number of responses we receive, unfortunately we are unable to give feedback to all individuals.
