Be a part of it.</p> <p>We are looking for a Bank skilled Maintenance Operative/Assistant with a passion for making a difference to others. </p> <p>You’ll have the opportunity to work bank shifts (Offering Flexibility and adhoc shifts) at Cygnet Hospital Bierley, helping provide a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care. </p> <p>Cygnet Hospital Bierley provides a range of acute and low secure mental health services for men and women.</p> <p>The hospital is set across four wards offering single-sex male and female specialist mental health services. All our services are provided under the umbrella of a recovery orientated approach and are reviewed through the CPA framework.</p> <p>Cygnet Hospital Bierley has a true focus on the service user and the over-riding aim of providing the best quality treatment and care possible. The team are committed to delivering care and treatment guided by the principles of a trauma informed approach.</p> <p><b>Your day-to-day... </b></p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide a comprehensive maintenance & repair service</p> </li><li> <p>Carry out a range of tasks including basic joinery, plumbing, painting & general building work </p> </li><li> <p>Maintain plant, services & vehicles in working order </p> </li><li> <p>Comply with safe working practices & report faulty equipment & potential hazards </p> </li><li> <p>Travel to other sites & on occasions be on call to carry out emergency repairs outside of normal w<br />orking hours</p> </li><li> <p>Check the fire alarm points weekly, including fire exits, door retaining devices & fire emergency lights</p> </li></ul> <p><b>We are looking for people who have…</b></p> <ul> <li> <p>Experienced in a similar role, or have worked in a self-employed capacity in recent years</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled at DIY & general maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience of repairing of various equipment and materials, painting, decorating, plumbing, carpentry and basic wiring work.</p> </li><li> <p>A working knowledge of health and safety requirements and safe working practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Willing to travel & hold a full valid driving licence</p> </li><li> <p>Able to communicate at all levels & record detailed, accurate maintenance information</p> </li><li> <p>Friendly, conscientious & an excellent team member with a positive attitude</p> </li><li> <p>Friendly, conscientious & an excellent team member with a positive attitude.</p> </li></ul> <p><br /><b>Why Cygnet?
