CNC Machinist
<p>Elevation Recruitment are working on behalf of a Bradford-based manufacturing business to recruit a <strong>CNC Machinist</strong> to join their team.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>CNC Machinist (Setter/Operator)</strong><br /><strong>Location:</strong> Bradford<br /><strong>Salary:</strong> £28,600 – £38,570 (dependent on shift pattern)<br /><strong>Shift Pattern:</strong> Various shift patterns available</p> <p><br /></p> <p>This opportunity is ideal for an experienced CNC professional looking to join a well-established precision engineering environment. The role plays an important part in supporting production by ensuring components are manufactured accurately, safely and in line with technical drawings and quality standards.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Set and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines.</li><li>Produce precision components in line with engineering drawings and specifications</li><li>Make minor edits to machining programs using Fanuc controls where necessary to maintain quality and productivity</li><li>Read and interpret detailed technical drawings</li><li>Carry out in-process inspection using a range of measuring equipment and CMM where required</li><li>Work to production schedules and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment</li><li>Follow all health and safety procedures and report any potential risks</li><li>Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the work area</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Engineering or Manufacturing, or higher</li><li>Previous experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment</li><li>Experience setting and operating CNC lathes and Milling Machines</li><li>Familiarity with Fanuc control systems</li><li>Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings</li><li>Experience using manual measuring equipment and inspection tools, with CMM knowledge advantageous</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work</li><li>Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Positive attitude with good communication skills</li><li>A proactive approach and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p>If this role is of interest, please click <strong>Apply</strong>, or contact <strong> Amy or Nicola</strong> for more information.</p> <p><br /></p>
