Estimator - Joinery / Shopfitting

<p>White Label Recruitment are currently working on a fantastic opportunity for an experienced <strong>Estimator</strong> to join a well-established manufacturing and fit-out environment based in <strong>Bradford</strong></p> <p>This is a hands-on estimating role within a busy, project-led business delivering <strong>bespoke manufactured solutions across joinery, metalwork and interiors</strong>.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>You’ll be responsible for producing accurate, detailed estimates across a range of projects, working closely with internal teams and the supply chain.</p> <p>Typical duties include:</p> <p>• Reviewing tender documentation, drawings and specifications</p> <p>• Building detailed costings (materials &#43; labour across machining, joinery, fabrication, assembly etc.)</p> <p>• Sending out enquiries and managing supplier/subcontractor quotes</p> <p>• Analysing returns and putting together competitive tender submissions</p> <p>• Supporting value engineering (VE) where possible</p> <p>• Liaising with clients post-tender and during handover to delivery teams</p> <p>• Working across multiple live tenders with tight deadlines</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>What They’re Looking For</strong></p> <p>• <strong>Proven estimating experience </strong>within a similar environment</p> <p>• Background in <strong>joinery, or shopfitting, etc</strong></p> <p>• Strong ability to <strong>read and interpret technical drawings</strong></p> <p>• Confident building estimates using <strong>Excel (advanced level)</strong></p> <p>• Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple tenders</p> <p>• Comfortable communicating with suppliers, subcontractors and clients</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Why It’s Worth a Look</strong></p> <p>• Stable, well-established business with a strong pipeline of work</p> <p>• Varied projects – not repetitive quoting</p> <p>• Good internal structure and support from experienced team</p> <p>• Opportunity to play a key role in project success from tender stage</p> <p><br /></p> <p>If this sounds like something you’d be open to hearing more about, drop me a message or send your CV across and I’ll give you a proper overview.</p>
