Sales Engineer
<p>We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Engineer to support our tendering and sales activities within a technical engineering environment.</p> <p>The role involves coordinating and assessing RFQs, reviewing technical and supplier quotations for compliance, managing customer communications, and working collaboratively across internal departments to deliver accurate and timely quotations.</p> <p>Roles & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate with engineering teams to review design submissions and ensure compliance with tender specifications.</li><li>Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, ensuring alignment with project requirements and commercial objectives.</li><li>Prepare and issue accurate, competitive quotations to customers.</li><li>Manage and prioritise a high-volume tendering inbox and sales opportunities within internal systems.</li><li>Act as a key point of contact for customers, responding to technical and commercial queries professionally and efficiently.</li><li>Review and assess customer RFQs in a timely manner, ensuring full understanding of technical and commercial requirements.</li><li>Liaise closely with internal departments including engineering, production, contracts and accounts to ensure seamless project handover and delivery.</li><li>Support Regional Sales Managers and senior sales leadership with technical input and quotation preparation.</li><li>Monitor and chase outstanding technical information and supplier responses to meet deadlines.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with company processes.</li></ul> <p>Skills & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Experience within an electrical power, engineering, or technical manufacturing environment (preferred).</li><li>Electrical engineering background or technical qualification (desirable).</li><li>Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance technical accuracy and competitiveness.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proficient IT skills and experience using CRM or opportunity management systems.</li><li>Collaborative team player with a proactive and forward-thinking mindset.</li></ul> <p>Click apply now for more information.</p>
