The receptionists are rude and aggressive. Not a professional environment. No consideration for patients, and lack empathy towards children with autism. I dont know how people like these get hired at Surgeries, in my opinion these people need to be fired, there shouldn't be second chances. The receptionist did not want to hear out my concerns and stated 'I have not come to work for this' so what has she gone in to work for, what is she getting paid for? All because she did not want to take accountability for her bad behaviour she spun it on me and disconnected the call. She needs to sort that attitude of hers.
The NHS website provides misleading information, stating 5 days to register, but the receptionist mentioned 6 weeks. Rude, dismissive attitude and zero accountability. If this is how new patients are treated, I seriously worry about current patient care!
5 stars just for the amazing receptionist Michelle. She is absolutely brilliant with patients. She makes us feel like we are cared for. With the rest of the receptionists I have not had a good experience. But with Michelle she is a star!! Every time I call, I internally pray that it’s Michelle that answers the call :) Thank you for everything you do Michelle; you are appreciated.
I had been with this surgery my whole life (25 years), however things have gotten so bad that I've had to switch surgeries. Dr Jha has changed throughout the years and I think the polite way to put it would be that she should consider retirement or stepping back as she isn't as sharp as she used to be. It is a constant fight to get any kind of support from this surgery, and whilst it's easy to get an appointment, you won't be listened to even slightly. If you're prescribed medication from an external source (e.g: psychiatrist, hospital etc) they won't continue the prescription and will try and essentially gaslight you when you bring it up. You can only advocate for yourself for so long before you have to go elsewhere. I really hope this surgery improves as there are some redeeming qualities (easy to get an appointment, Michelle the receptionist is absolutely brilliant and the nurses are mostly very friendly) so it would be a shame to see these go
Receptionist doesn’t know how to job her job and all the workers are really rude and obnoxious, wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemies
