I recently purchased a PS5 along with two controllers from CEX, and my experience was genuinely impressive from start to finish. From the moment I entered the store, I found the staff to be professional, approachable, and highly knowledgeable about their products. Was served today to sell my Samsung S24 yellow. Was served by a young South Asian male, had medium length wavy hair, was about 5ft5, cream / light grey jumper & silver chain ( refused to be given a name by his colleague , Zara because it’s against company policy). This person has 0 customer service skills, mumbles at you & it’s the coldest , least friendly interaction I’ve experienced. He initially gave us the wrong price & when we told him that we got another quote on your website, he shrugged his shoulders. Had to then ask him who would explain the difference at which point he reluctantly called his colleague , Zara. She was friendly enough & resolved the issue but he didn’t even apologise for getting it wrong. Had we not known better we’d have ended up £100 worse off.
This is how you know cex are robbing people. How you charging two different prices for the same thing? Makes you think what else they are doing it on
Went in to buy a phone.. young lady seemed a bit 'dippy' without being too offensive... Not very professional at all... I still only bought the item due to the 5 year warranty, i was only given a receipt, no record of the transaction was made via email, surprisingly!
Disgusting. When I was in store buying an item. I saw behind the counter a bin full of slipcases, posters Nd booklets from bluray releases. So when you buy of cex online and bits missing. Its because they bin them. I asked a member of staff who said. We just throw thar stuff away. Shocking and disgusting. Never again. Ppl should boycott cex until they sort this behaviour out
