Honest family run business with a long standing history in the town, one of the very few proper local jewellers left. Offered me a very fair price on sentimental inherited gold jewellery which unfortunately wasn’t to my taste. Some of my gold was of a substantial size so had to be sent away for testing, this was carried out within just a few days. Anna got back to me quickly and explained that the gold prices had actually risen slightly since her initial estimate just a few days before so she offered me slightly more. The money was paid into my account instantly. I was made to feel that I was in safe hands. Would recommend.
Lovely shop, some beautiful jewellery/watches in there. The real difference is the customer service. Genuine folk who are actually truly happy to help 👍
After my fiancé bought my engagement ring from raffles we had it resized, and everything was perfect. The staff were super helpful and friendly. However I have recently come to add the ring to our home insurance and for this i needed the receipt. Unfortunately the receipt was put through the washing machine. You can still see the date, name, receipt number and how much was paid for the ring but could no longer see the description of the ring which was needed to add to the home insurance. I rang raflles and a lovely lady called Sally said no problem bring in the left over of the receipt and the ring and they would do me a copy receipt with a description. She said its not an issue and they do it all the time. The trouble came when I went into the shop to do this, I was served by a lady who I was led to believe was the owner. Before I could even explain the situation she cut me off wouldn't let me speak and said they could absolutely not help at all because to find that receipt it is at their accountants and they have so many it would be impossible and felt like i was wasting their time. The only thing she offered was a valuation of the ring which would mean sending the ring off for 7 to 10 days. I explained all I was wanting was a description and not a valuation and again cut off, wasn't listened to and was made to make me feel like if i wasn't their to spend more money then don't bother. Why tell me over the phone its not a problem yet when i come to the store its like i caused offence. You expect better customer service after spending so much money! I left feeling very disheartened, especially as we were planning on going back to raffles for our wedding rings. We certainly won't be now and won't be recommending the shop as the aftercare customer service was beyond upsetting. It is very sad to say as prior to this our experience with raffles has been amazing and it is such a shame one person has let it down. I simply wanted to take care of my ring as it is so special to me but was made to feel as though we didn't matter and we were just another number to add to their profits.
I am so so happy with the customer service we've received from Raffles. We've just had my engagement ring repaired, my wedding ring resized and both rings replated. The lady who dealt with me was fantastic. So helpful and friendly. Service was very efficient and they kept in regular contact re: the timescale. All for a very reasonable price too. I'm so happy with everything. Thank you so much!
Absolutely excellent, I had placed an item into pawn due to things that were going on in my life I forgot about the item until I thought I had lost it due to missing the date I had been allowed to redeem it, this made me feel terrible due to the nature of the item but I thought that was that. Imagine how happy I was when I received a letter from them which said they would allow me to still either redeem the item or to pay the interest and keep the item with them for upto another 7 months. I cannot recommend them enough, the interest rates are very reasonable but more than that the service they provide is absolutely excellent because they really care about their customers. I would like to give them a huge thank you for giving me the extra time to redeem my item, something I thought I had lost due to missing the date on my paperwork. Thank you
