Want to know a bit more? Started in the 1970’s by The Grandfather, Christopher George Ellis, our aim now is the same as it was then, to sell great stuff in a great place.

The name? Well, no, we’re not a garage, but we were – and back in the day we sold kitchen equipment as well. A bit odd? Yes. That’s why nowadays we’re just a good and proper independent retailer. (Kept the name though, obviously.)

What do we sell? Gifts, clothing, homeware, kitchenware, and kids toys – have a peek at our website it’s all on there. And if you do come and visit us, then not only will you get to experience our fab shop and the wonderful Kitchen Café, but you’ll also be able to enjoy the beautiful market town of Settle as well!
