Roots to Rituals workshop After six years of fertility issues, my family is finally complete and I am ready to start living more intentionally and finding who I am again so when the opportunity to attend Jules’s Roots to Ritual 🪶‘s workshop came up, I jumped at the chance I will never regret it. It was an amazing weekend spent in sisterhood with amazing women all wanted to learn and support each other I felt so seen and held. I learnt how I can weave the magic into the mundane as always with your workshops. The food was fantastic. The delivery amazing And the interactions with the rituals and sisterhood was so enlightening. I can’t wait to wear these rituals into my day-to-day life and bring them into my family. I particularly say my daughter will love the water blessings and fire rituals. Thanks to Lauren for the earth altar workshop. I can’t wait for my daughter and myself to pick flowers and twigs and things from our nature walks and bring them back to create beautiful if not as good as yours altars. I highly recommend for anybody whether you’re planning on holding space brothers or just weaving which goes into your day-to-day life.
I had the most beautiful weekend learning and sharing with this inspiring group of women at @ryecroftwellness Roots to Ritual retreat. We ate some amazing home cooked nourishing food, gathered, created and shared our stories. While Jules and Lauren @theearthismyaltar shared their wisdom and creativity on how ritual can be brought into our every day lives. Everything was so down to Earth and normal, we had a good laugh, made an amazing mandala, had a rebirth in an icy pool, danced and sung around the fire and admired Lauren’s Dad’s stunning carpentry work. 😜 The biggest take away I got from the weekend is that we are all worthy and capable of performing rituals. Whether they are for our communities, our friends, family or just for ourselves. These rituals are important, they are part of who we are as human beings and you don’t need to have fancy cape or certificate (although we did get one! 😆) you just need an intention and that’s were you begin. 🪶 Thank you so much for having me and creating a space and community that felt very much Iike home. ✨🪶🪬🍁🍂 11/10 would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I just finished the Roots to Ritual training, and honestly, it was such a beautiful and grounding experience. I went in wanting to learn more about creating sacred space and ceremony, but I came out with so much more — a deeper sense of connection, presence, and trust in my own way of doing things. What I loved most was how real and down-to-earth it all felt. The facilitators weren’t trying to make anything overly mystical or complicated — they helped us remember that ceremony can be simple, personal, and rooted in our everyday lives. I learned to slow down, listen, and bring intention to even small moments. There was also something really special about being in community with others on the same path. Everyone showed up so authentically, and that made it feel safe and supportive. If you’re someone who wants to reconnect with the sacred, explore ritual in a meaningful way, or just find more presence in daily life, I can’t recommend Roots to Ritual enough. It really helped me remember what it means to live life as ceremony.
Pregnancy yoga was no doubt the best thing that I did during my pregnancy!! George is an amazing instructor, and even though I had never done any yoga before, she helped me to learn the poses and my flexibility definitely improved. The relaxation time was so helpful and helped me bond with my daughter before she arrived. I have met some fantastic mamas in these sessions and we continue to meet regularly now my daughter is 5 months old.
Attended the pregnancy yoga at Ryecroft and could not recommend it enough. Georgina (instructor) is fabulous and so supportive both with the yoga and the emotions you are going through. Tuesday evenings quickly became my favourite part of the week! Was a fantastic opportunity to do something to make me feel good, move my body and connect not only with my growing baby but also other mums to be. If you are thinking about giving it a go just do it, you won’t regret it.
