Cracking pub, one of the best we’ve visited! A proper local village pub with fantastic home cooked food, choice of ales, a roaring fire, lovely staff and a friendly landlord; this is a real unassuming hidden gem. Our party had the gammon, fish pie, pies and scampi, all delicious. Puds are great too. Can’t rate this place highly enough, fab value to boot.

Sometimes a place just has a really nice feel, and this is one of them. Had been meaning to check it out for ages, and the welcome me and my 6yo felt on our daddy/daughter date was great. We’ll definitely be back soon - thanks guys.

Cracking traditional pub serving excellent solid food at a reasonable price, lovely pint of Boltmaker also and all served by friendly people. The lamb shank was one of the best I've had. Open fire was most inviting.
