A decent sized car park, well situated right at the top of the high street. A pop and shop rate of 40p for up to half an hour is also a genuinely useful addition to the pricing structure here, and something you don't see nearly as often as I would like. Much of the parking area is on a slight gradient that mobility impaired users would need to be mindful of.
Great day out at Skipton. Strolled around shops and market. Road closed for market to allow pedestrians more access to stalls. Excellent takeaway fish n' chips from Bizzies eaten in church grounds in glorious sunshine. Worked off the calories with a lovely woodland walk through the Castle woods managed by The Woodland Trust. Glorious tulips ๐ทin private garden across from Bailey Street car park.
Card and cash at pay machine lots of spaces for everyone close to town centre
Large good car park plenty spaces busy on market days tight entrance especially for buses easy access town centre
This car park is easily accessible from the High Street but can be very busy so be prepared to wait or park at another car park. This car park is central so excellent for visiting the shops, attractions and the market.
