Visited last Friday, WOW. As a Skipton local maybe I should have been here before. This is one very nice place. Winner of a "4 in a bed" TV show its easy to understand how that happened. Warm welcome from the patron himself. The restaurant is spotless. The staff are smart, polite and knowledgeable. Bread and olives while you make up your mind, and it takes some doing with the very comprehensive menu available. As we had decided upon the Chateaubriand before we went, menu is available on-line, we just shared a starter so as not to spoil the main course. Two tables were put together to help show the dish of to its best, and it was the best. Medium rare it was delicious. So much meat cooked to perfection. I could go on about it for a long time but that would be silly. Just to say EVERTHING was as good as it gets. My partner had been there a few weeks before to a bottomless brunch and she had commented on how perfect it all was. Thanks again to the Patron and all his staff, seen and unseen for making it such a great night.
A brilliant stay, we loved the decor throughout. Excellent food (gorgeous breakfast). Our room was really nicely decorated. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Can't wait to stay again! Highly recommended.
Got too curious and payed the price
