Went to BCF today, for the first time not knowing quite what to expect as information seems to be a bit scant on the Internet. Cool overcast day so low expectation, fished Ghost Lake and caught loads of small carp plus 5 between 4/5 pounds and lost a fair few too. Will definitely be going back. Als, the owners is a really nice guy, comes round to collect money so very easy to turn up, find a peg and get fishing 😊
Went the other day for a look, as haven't been since January and seen "no keepnets allowed" signs up? Can I ask how long this is on for as there's a good few of us who go here for this reason ?
First time fishing here August ‘25 on Ghost Lake - great place - fish in great condition BUT - Website / Facebook could do with updates 👍 Website just adverts & FB no updates for 2 years - difficult to find information
The best venue around . Can easily catch over 50 carp in a day. Top fella that owns the lakes and farm . Toilets on site . Beautiful kept lakes and trees .Our go to place and won’t fish anywhere else . 10 Stars 🌟
First time fishing here really enjoyed the day and plenty of fish on Ghost Lake will definitely be back to try the other 3 lakes.
