The first charger does not work as the user screen has been smashed. You cannot select the CCS or other charger port to start your charging session. The second charger works fine and as expected.
The chargers are hidden in the main carpark of McDonald’s so drive all the way round towards the exit of mcd’s car park. Space was narrow but ok. Charger was variable in speed, sometimes going a bit faster but took about an hour for a full charge on a fully EV vehicle, which isn’t terrible. Price is ok, not cheap but not the worst either.
Charger one chademo never works. Charger 2 does but you can’t use it if someone else is on the ccs so for chademo there is only one charger to use, even though it says it’s working. It just cancels your transaction. Price has also increased to 85p per KWH.
Max I could get was 46kwh briefly and then down to 39kwh. In response to the owners reply, I eventually drove to another charging station after getting fed up at this charging station and I received a much higher output, so would suggest it has more to do with your charging stations "max" output rather than the numerous factors you have suggested are to do with the environment on the day or my vehicle. Wouldn't recommend going out of your way for the advertised fast charging at this location
Not really instavolts fault. Screen damaged on one station and took the obligatory £45 off me which didn't work. The other station a driver parked like a fool so couldn't get in due to length of cable...happy days
