Professional, friendly - their experience is second to none, to the point where I will not allow other hairdressers to so much as touch my hair. Regardless of what I've requested, they've given me sound advice, and even after years of colouring my hair looks and feels fantastic. My absolute go to when I want the absolute best - quality hasn't diminished at all since ir became Starlightz!

Came to StarLightz hair salon today as I had an absolute colour disaster!! (DiY) , where my hair was about 5 different shades of blonde, blue, grey, ginger you name it!! My hair was sincerly damaged from the bleach id used and before my appointment today, I didnt even think a hair salon would manage to salvage the silver!! But they did! My hair looks absolutely amazing, a perfectly even toned colour and a beautiful trim! My hair is now 1 colour all round, perfect roots and a gorgeous healthy style!!! Lovely little salon, lovely friendly and chatty staff and I will definitely be returning again! Thankyou so much StarLightz youve being amazing! :)

I went here to have my hair straightened, but they used a relaxant normally used for people with dark skin. I am white with tinted hair, upon using this treatment and realising that it wasn't good for my hair type, they washed it off, but unfortunately the damage had already been done. I have suffered an immense amount of breakage and lost quite a lot of hair. I have not encouraged my family and friends to write any reviews, they wrote them of their own accord, due to how shocked they were when they saw that I have lost a vast amount of my hair. And no, don't try and accuse me of going to any other hair salon, I only went for their professional advice and nobody would touch it. I came back to you two days later, after I had sought professional advice, not four days later, And yes, we do know what happened, we were the only ones present and I requested that you chemically straighten my hair, not relax it. Relaxers are for afro type people. I went to a trichologist a week after you destroyed my hair, and I'm sure you will see the report, and he also stated that the product you used is not for caucasian hair. You should not offer services that you are not au fait with. I should have heard the alarm bells when you said you had been to the wholesales to especially buy the product, I understood this to be a service that you offered on a regular basis.

I love my new hair! I had highlights and a well needed trim with Debbie, she’s super friendly and the salon has a really homely feel! I’ll definirely be back! Thank you!

I have had my hair cut and coloured at another hairdresses in Bramley and they made complete mess of it . I turned up at starlight's asking for help the staff were brilliant they cut my hair and made it look good. I would recommend them to anyone.
