A lovely place full of greenery all around. Kids will enjoye this place with mountain cycling & tracking. Full of different types of flowers and wild garlic. This park connect to small bridge which will leads towards forge lock to get over side of channel. Loved this place & Recommended for visit.
I lived in Bramley when I was a child and spent many happy hours in Bramley Fall Woods. There has been some but little change since those days. A lovely walk through the woods with access to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. The quality of the towpath is much improved making it a superb surface for cycling. A real trip down memory lane.
Nice park with a forest feeling , there is a canal close by with a long path along it.
Great place for dog walking or just exploring the woods. Kids and adults alike will love it. Car parks available.
Week day walk, started in the free carpark, wandered around the woods and fields before descending the steps to the tow path along the canal, watching the lock keeper and barge crew work the locks.. plenty seating along the canal, tow paths were busy with dog walkers, bikers, joggers, ramblers and people just out for a mid day walk, all seemed to be polite and say hello...We had set out to walk upto the neighbouring Rodley nature reserve, but found it was closed that day.. so walked steadily back along the canal, as with most canals, no-one is is a hurry..
