came here last year and i got proposed too and i loved it so i booked it again but then when we came it was the wrong lodge even tho we booked the exact same one as last time . When we walked in there was flies everywhere,the blinds was broken, there was a smell of fish in the cabin and it was just completely not what we paid for i never comment about anything but the cabin we wanted was special to us and it has really upset us that we hadn’t had what we paid for

The lodge was stunning in build, space and atmosphere. Large living room/dining area. Great bedroom and bathroom facilities. Good hot tub, but not very private. However, Bad internet connection, very dated (basic) TV, VERY dated conventional gas cooker (grill and hob). One dish towel, limited pans and blunt knives.

Just back from 2 nights in the camping pods! Absolutely amazing time! Gorgeous place and the kids and the dog loved it! There is an on site pizzeria however it is very very expensive! £17.95 for a chicken burger! But luckily just across the road on the high street there's a great takeaway! 14inch pizza garlic bread 2 large chips and a chicken burger all for £23! Also the camping pods are literally that an empty shed. So you need to take everything as if camping except the tent! Also get some mozzi nets for the window and door otherwise with them shut you'll slow cook all night! But all in all an amazing time and we will 100% be back!

The shower blocks where messy, toilet paper all over the floor, the showers were useless, no pressure what's so ever and was either freezing cold or scolding hot. Plus not enough for the amount of people on the camp site.

I have not stayed here. I am a local who uses the snooker table mainly in a Sunday afternoon for a couple of hours. The table is lovely and I have been coming here since I moved to the village a few months ago. Today I paid for 2 hours with a bargain price of £2.50ph. (can't argue) when we got to nearly two hours in I found out I have a further 30mins extra to play with, I went down and got another round in and offered to pay for another 1 hour despite only needed another 30 mins or so. The lovely lady at the counter said don't worry about it if is only 30 mins or so. As soon as 2 hours hit a young lad popped in and told us our time was up, I explained we would be another 30 Mins or so and I have offered to pay for an extra hour but the lady on the till said don't worry about it when I ordered another round. He disappeared then came back (with a vengeance!) 20 Mins later and insisted we stopped play as our time was up. I explained Again at the till before we left I offered to pay for the hour (a whole £2.50) but he was insistent the extra time was just to let us finish our game. I did Try and explain that the table is paid for per hour not per game but the young lad was so high up on his high house I don't think he could hear me! We left £2.50 on the counter as we left so they where quids in! No one was queuing to play, we didn't hold anyone up and we where ordering a round every 30 mins. We are not tourists who they will never see again, we are locals who where looking forward to using the facilities year round. We where made to feel like we where trying to rip them off for a whole £1.25 for half a hour!!!
