Lovely family stay at Seaves Mill recently. Glorious weather to enjoy the beautiful gardens and received a warm welcome from Joanna, along with thoughtful touches on arrival. Super place and well located for exploring the pretty countryside.

Absolutely stunning cottage - it’s immaculate, luxurious and very well thought through (it’s so well stocked!). The cottage is even better than the photos and is incredibly peaceful. The area is stunning and the hosts had some fabulous tips too. Already planning a trip back!

The perfect place to relax and explore North Yorkshire. The cottage is a beautiful restoration, providing a large living space and two very comfortable en-suite bedrooms. Joanna and Phil have thought of everything to make your stay special - including a welcome pack of delicious local goodies and a roaring fire. The gardens and stream are lovely outdoor spaces for eating and relaxing. The location is rural but walking distance across the fields to a great pub in Crayke and a Bakehouse for coffee, breakfast or lunch. We explored York, visited the Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield and did a days walk in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Blessed with good weather but still lots to see and do - we will be back!

What a wonderful and relaxing place to have as a base and explore this part of North Yorkshire. The cottage has all you need. Our daughter loved having the upper floor to herself and the huge roll top bath. Joanna and Phil were on hand if greet us and kept in touch to make sure there were no issues. The outdoor space is lovely, with the gardens and stream to enjoy as you sit, relax, maybe grab the book. We headed East to Bempton Cliffs to catch the seabirds, West to Bettys Tea Rooms in Harrogate, and just up the road to the wonderful views and walks of Sutton Bank. Malton is worth to trip out too, or a stop when passing, to grab some goodies from the Talbot Yard Food Court. A great place to stay, in a great location to explore from. Wonderful.

Seaves Mill Cottage is the perfect location for a Yorkshire get away. The stylish lux fit out of an old stables building has everything you could wish for - comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, wood heater with endless supply of wood and a generous welcome pack. The house is surrounded the lovely gardens to the enjoy the view and the sun. Loads of things to do in the surrounding district. Definitely whole heart recommendation and repeat destination.
