First time in Selby. Great experience. Love the the area. Environment clean and conducive for its purpose. Services great. Both staff and patients were friendly. Side by side with North Yorkshire Council Selby Office. Plenty free parking 🅿️.

I came to Selby War Memorial Hospital a few weeks ago for my first physiotherapy appointment and was seen by Dr Matthew Maclennan, Specialist Physiotherapist. Matthew is one of the most knowledgeable professionals I have ever met, who asked about my injury and history in great detail, followed by thorough examinations and a suitable treatment plan. Thanks to Dr Maclennan, I joined the physiotherapy gym class and am on my way to a full recovery.

Took our 9 year old grand daughter to Minor Injuries here after a fall. Lovely reception staff. Professional and welcoming. Not long to wait for Triage and X ray. Nurse practitioner was excellent. Great bedside manner, caring and professional. Prognosis, treatment and referral to fracture clinic for fractured knee cap, all under 2 hours. A refreshing change. Great hospital. Hreat staff. Recently moved back here been here three times now. The waiting is never really that long. Went for a blood test the last time I visited must of been a 5 minute wait and I was next. The lady was really nice and chatty just what I like to see in staff members.
