Gable House Nursery

All of my Children have attended Gable House Nursery over the last 12 years, and honestly we couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff at Gable House/Rocking Horse are brilliant; they treat the children as if they are their own, creating a warm and nurturing environment that has made our children feel safe and loved every day. The dedication and professionalism of all the staff is second to none. They are not only caring but also highly skilled in early childhood education, providing a range of activities that have significantly contributed to all of our children's development over the years. Whether it's creative arts, outdoor play, or early literacy and numeracy skills, the variety and quality of the programs offered are exceptional. The facilities at Gable House are excellent, always clean, and well-maintained, providing a stimulating environment for the children to learn and grow. The communication from the staff is also outstanding. We receive regular updates on our son's progress and daily activities, which keeps us connected and reassured. I will be heartbroken to see my last baby leave this placement in 2026 but feel truly honoured that Gable House has been such an important part of our family for as many years as it has. I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone looking for childcare for their children, you won't be disappointed.

100% Recommend Gable House. My son has attended for 3 years and he’s in his last year now and I’m so gutted he has too go to school this year, He absolutely loves it at gable house. He’s made so many friendships and has come on so far thank-you to the care and compassion of the staff there! The staff are friendly and approachable always willing too chat and inform you of your child’s day. Honestly I would choose any other Nursery for my second son

Both of my children have been to gable house nursery, my youngest is still there. He has come on so much since going there, the amount of different activities and trips they do are amazing. My son is doing something fun and educational every time he is there. He really likes all of the staff, especially Beth and I couldnt think of a better nursery to send him to.

Gable hose nursery was the first and last nursery we looked at for a place for our little girl. From the very first appointment we were sold on this place. Our little girl absolutely loves attending her nursery days here and absolutely loves the staff and all the different sensory, learning experiences she does whilst there. They are always thinking of innovative ways to keep them engaged and learning through play. Trips to beach and secret garden, land train rides you name it, they make it happen. It can be hard as a parent to hand their precious children over to strangers but I feel at ease always as they are her family now just in a nursery setting and I like that.
