Really cool pub. They have rooms upstairs that you can have all to yourself. The cheese and meat boards are lovely. We saw the face of a ghost in the dining room at the top too! Freaked us out loads. Check out the picture we took of it!
We called in at around 8pm whilst visiting friends and family in Bridlington. I had never been before but the rest of our party had. The service was fast and friendly with a wide variety of drinks to choose from. The building is so quirky and spooky. Ghost hunters would have a fantastic time here! There are several small rooms as you move up the building, each with period furniture and decor, where you can sit and have a drink. We sat downstairs as one of our group was on crutches, but we did go up to have a look around. The locals sat in the room with us were friendly and had a chat, without being over bearing. Outside was a courtyard with canopies to shelter us smokers from the rain. I would definitely go visit again as I'm sure there is more to see. My ghost loving brother and sister in law would definitely love it here!
We went here yesterday, such a unique pub! Lots of different floors with different rooms to sit in with real open fires. We ordered two cheeseboards which were a good price and very tasty. Friendly welcome from staff. Will go here again next time I visit Brid.
Only drunk here but it’s my favourite pub ever! I love the individual rooms, feels like you’re in your own front room! Open fires, fireside chairs, dim lighting and decent wines by the bottle make this a perfect place to go
An absolutely delightful pub. Holidaying with a couple of mates in Bridlington we discovered this amazing place. Part-Pub, part-museum, part living historic document, makes this one of the most unique drinking spots I've ever been in. In addition to all that, the staff and regulars were REALLY genuine and friendly making us feel very at much at home the times we came in. The lass behind the bar was really friendly and offered to take our pic outside when we told her we had been mates for @50 years and began our drinking together in a pub called the Board Inn up north. A fantastic way to commemorate 40+ years of drinking together:) I cannot recommend this place enough.
