A great pub. Excellent choice of well kept hand drawn ales. Friendly staff and locals who were happy to chat to a bunch of old blokes like us. Went twice; once in the afternoon where we sat in the well appointed beer garden, the next time on the night where we stayed way longer than we meant to - until kicking out time (I think:)) as the atmosphere was excellent. A great spot!
A really nice place with good service and nice staff. Will definitely visit again 🎶🎵🍺
Nice outlook over the cliffs and sea view. Outdoor play area good for the little ones. Food was ok,. Husband had a fish pie it wasn’t cooked through so had to send it back. The restaurant area we sat in was full of bluebottle flies - not very nice flying around while eating 😮😔. Did let the server know when delivering the food. Service at the bar which wasn’t busy had to make myself known at the bar to be served. Probably go back for a drink and play area with granddaughter but won’t be eating there again 😔😔
A true, friendly local where the staff seem to know all the regulars and everyone is made to feel most welcome. Would love to stay longer but I’ve a train to catch - station just over half a mile away, straight down the same road.
Great pub, good selection of drinks, staff could be more attentive.
