Wow what a find. We nipped in to Boyes department store to use the toilets. We found ourselves stepping back In time. There are a couple of old shop fronts along with a museum linking onto the Vafe. The cafe is huge with stunning views on both sides. One side showing the bay and south beach, the other giving a view of the town. The staff are fabulous. Super friendly We visited late in the day. We ordered 2 huge mugs of Yorkshire tea and a generous slice of vegan apple pie served with custard. £9.05 Bargain We will be back 😊

Peas were quite cold. The meat was chewy but the pastry was delicious, and so was the gravy. The restaurant is quite large, and has a museum built into it. The service was the best part as it only too a few mins to arrive. 🤔

Brilliant food, in a pleasant location overlooking the bay. Despite being on the third floor, there are lifts available. Highly recommended.

We had a pleasant experience at The Bay View. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared, and the service was attentive and friendly. Despite dealing with a few challenging customers — impatient and entitled pensioners, mostly — the staff remained composed and professional throughout. I really appreciated that. The steak pie was excellent.
