I have a wheat allergy and had set my heart on having a cooked breakfast for lunch on our last day in Bridlington. My husband and I asked, in every cafe we saw, for gluten free bread, sausage and hash browns, and nobody could accommodate this for me. Just before turning to a jacket potato we came across Carmen's cafe. Small and cosy so I thought we didn't have a chance of gluten free, however, I was so wrong. Gluten free bread, hash browns and cakes were available. I swapped sausage for an egg and the prices were the best I'd seen. I had a plate full of quality produce with a large teapot of tea. We will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Food was excellent, service was a bit slow, 15 mins for a cup of tea. The waitress was lovely but just slow.

I have the tattoo studio next door and use carmens on a daily basis. I have never left unsatisfied, top quality food, unbeatable prices and lovely service. I've had half the menu now and everything has been top quality. Highly recommend the sourdough eggy bread and the large breakfast 👌

We were in Bridlington Sunday afternoon and being a bit early for our appointment we to find something to eat. Carmens certainly didn't dissappoint! Two All Day Breakfasts, my friend has food tollerances so asked to swap a couple of items and they couldn't have been more helpful :) Food arrived quickly and we were very impressed with the quantity and the quality :) The saugages and bacon were from a local supplier and not the usual mass produced rubbish you get in a lot of places. Given the very reasonable price we were very impressed, in fact it's the best breakfast I've had for a long time!. If I'm back in Bridlington again I'll certainly make a point of returning to Carmens :)
