Went as new years treat and saw the good reviews. We had our dog with us and she was very welcome in the restaurant. We ordered two regular cod and chips and curry sauce and a couple drinks, which came t around £34, about normal for fish and chips nowadays. The fish isn't massive but still plenty of it and loads of chips. Both were delicious, the cod was lovely and fresh and the chips were fluffy. But the best part was the curry sauce, a lovely sweetness and a good amount of spice, top notch curry sauce. This must be the best chippy in Brid!
This restaurant was a great find. The staff where great and the man cooking who I assume was the owner was jolly and singing along to the radio etc and very welcoming. We were going to have the lobster two for £35 but I prefer my lobster warm so I opted to have it heated with garlic butter and then my other half decided to do the same and so we now no longer qualified for the £35 deal. The price was now £56!!! Which we found a very steep difference but as we had waited months and months to try this I paid. The lobster was beautiful and the chips were amazing!!! We both said "I think these are literally the best chips we have EVER had and we have travelled a fair bit. They tasted like triple cooked but even tastier somehow?? Haha. So all in all we were glad we stayed and enjoyed this feast. The lobster obviously isn't huge but along with the chips was more than adequate and along with the pleasant staff and wonderful views across the beach was a nice way to end a pleasant day in Bridlington. So my advice would be try the £35 deal and if you like it warm then pay the extra £16 for them to warm it up with some garlic. Sit near the window and enjoy the view, especially if it's a great evening sky out like we had. Tip the lovely staff who were very helpful and accommodating for youngsters get a bad reputation and these guys were great.
Absolutely massive portions but also super tasty. We had regular haddock and chips, which was easily enough for two, but as we didn't know this would be the case, also got battered scallops and chips 🤣 definitely the best fish and chips I've had. Mushy peas and gravy were top tier too. Will definitely come back.
Best fish and chips I have had in the Uk/ Europe. Having spent the past 6 wks on holiday from Australia. The staff were so friendly and professional. Great experience 💯 👌
This was our second fish and chips experience in as many days in Bridlington, and Naked Fish truly stood out. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and when I spotted someone walking by with a fish butty, I knew I had to try it as we don’t often see those down South. The batter was wonderfully crisp and flavorful, while the fish inside was perfectly moist. We also ordered two lobsters for £35, which were great value for the price (just don’t expect giant specimens at that cost!). Overall, I was thoroughly impressed, far better than any fish and chips I've had in London.
