I’ve had a couple of really enjoyable burgers from this place in the past, which made today’s visit all the more disappointing. Unfortunately, the quality seems to have taken a serious dip. When we received our order, both burgers were freezing cold in the middle — not just lukewarm, but genuinely cold, which immediately raised concerns about how they were prepared. It was clear that the patties had been pre-cooked, stored, and then poorly reheated before serving. Now, pre-cooking isn’t necessarily a bad practice if done right, but in this case, it was far from acceptable. It felt like the burgers had been cooked well in advance, then thrown onto a barely warm griddle just long enough to sear the outside without properly heating the inside. It gave the impression of corner-cutting rather than care for quality or food safety. When I raised the issue with a staff member — a man with a strong resemblance to Einstein, who I assume is either the owner or manager — his response was abrupt and dismissive. He insisted the burgers hadn’t been stored in a fridge (despite how cold they were) and said he would put them back on the grill. When I mentioned that we had already taken a bite out of them, I expected he would make new ones, but instead, he simply reheated the same burgers. To make matters worse, he didn’t even bother to clean the grill before slapping them back on. This experience left a really sour taste — literally and figuratively. The attitude, the lack of basic hygiene, and the indifference to food quality were incredibly disappointing. Sadly, we won’t be returning, and I truly believe that kind of careless behavior can do serious damage to what could otherwise be a great little burger spot.

Lovely Burgers. Very friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Had to buy chips from next door though. They were £3 for a very small portion on a tray. We wouldnt bother with them again. We remembered them from a few years ago and went back on Friday 16 June. We will no doubt visit again.

Polite, friendly service. Ordered a jacket potato which came with plenty of the selected filling (cheese). Reasonable prices too.

Incredible burgers, prices are excellent, shame they don't sell chips though. Best seaside burger I've had in a while!
