BEWARE - Parking Charge Notice SCAM We Parked here in the Summer, Paid at the Payment Machine and went swimming. 3 weeks later, get a PCN in the post asking for £100. Have requested CCTV footage which they are obliged to supply under Data Protection law. DO NOT PAY - Complain/Appeal/Contest

Absolute nightmare trying to pay. Eventually found out you have to put your registration in first then cash for the amount of time you want, WHICH WE DID. Machine doesn't give receipts so you have absolutely no proof or record of paying. Seems like others that have done this receive a £60 fine ???? Tried ringing the number displayed on the board and it didn't exist. So, waiting to see what happens. So, two weeks later, like the others reviewing, a £60 fine appeared even though we paid. If this isn't a moneymaking scam, I don't know what is. How can you even consider appealing this when you haven't been issued with a receipt.

Like every other recent review, we also received a fine after paying. We used to park here regularly but it seems in early 2024 the machines were changed to operate via number plate recognition rather than placing a ticket on your dash (possibly new ownership?). If you pay cash, you will not get any form of a receipt, and it seems a dead cert you will get a fine. It goes without saying: don't park here! But to everyone who HAS been fined: please contest it through POPLA. We almost paid just to get it over with, but realised we really didn't want to give our money to such unscrupulous scammers. Once we went through POPLA we had to wait a few weeks but then the fine was simply withdrawn. Almost as if the owners of the car park know what they're doing is wrong...

Shocking, paid for 3 hours and returned 40 minutes before my time ran out, put my reg in then put money in, the machine said parking now active. No receipt given or no change, I thought it’s ok as I’ve put my registration in. 2 weeks later got sent a fine for not paying. I was shocked so I appealed it and the parking company said I still had to pay the fine because there wasn’t enough evidence, which is quite funny when you pay by your registration that should be recorded in the machine with no receipt given so I took it further, I used POPLA (Parking on Private Land Appeals) I told them what had happened and they put my case forward to the car park company . They had to respond with there evidence and surprise surprise they withdrew my fine with no reason given to popla. Don’t be afraid to appeal your fines if you know you’ve paid. I wasn’t paying a fine when I knew I had paid for my parking I’ll no longer be using this carpark, it’s ideal where it’s located but nobody needs the hassle

DO NOT PARK HERE ITVIS A SCAM!!!!! DO NOT PARK HERE ITS A SCAM!!! like all other reviews. Got a £170 fine without a letter from the parking company straight to debt collectors I’ve have the ticket and the bank statement to prove I paid there so we’re taking them all the way. Do not park here!!!!!
