The sewerby picnic car park is a large grass car park next to Sewerby Hall and gardens. There are fantastic views from the cliff top of the beach and sea. You can catch the land train from here into Bridlington. There is a good pub the ship Close by. It's a nice quiet place to park, have a picnic, and there's plenty of space for children to play. Every June, the East Coast run, finishes here, and there are hundreds of classic cars and commercial vehicles on display.

Amazing views from this mainly grass car park. Watch out for the quite deep ruts though. Reasonably priced too @ £1.20 for 1 hour, £2.40 for 2 hours, £3.60 for 3 hours and £4.80 for all day The car park has a barrier to stop anything other than cars entering, and and a gate that is closed and locked at 8:00 PM so don’t leave your car there beyond this, else it will be locked in for the night until the gate is opened again at 8:00 AM. (Prices updated August 2024)

Always park here, best place to park. Plenty of space and cheap. Abit of a walk to most of the attractions but it’s ok if you like walking. Closed over the winter period. Quite a lot of the time the ticket machines don’t work early in the morning so can’t purchase tickets and then someone comes and fixes it and then give you a ticket. Make sure you take a picture of the screen if it’s not working. There’s also a hidden machine not far from the main one but that’s not always open.

Getting a bit run down, entrance is a mess and could easily ground a car or damage a wheel. Great location and great views though otherwise it would have been 2 stars
